The reporter visited Meiganbang’s production workshop, where workers performed their respective tasks in a well-organized and orderly manner. Key processes, including circular mold forming and precision nailing, were seamlessly coordinated, while the production lines operated at full capacity to fulfill orders for cold-chain food transport boxes from industry leaders such as JD.com, SF Express, and AOKUN（China’s leading baking companies）.
Every effort was being made to ensure timely delivery to destinations across China, supporting the smooth operation of cold-chain logistics and the supply of frozen and baked goods throughout the Spring Festival period.
The Spring Festival marks the peak season for cold-chain logistics and frozen bakery consumption, driving a surge in demand for high-quality packaging. Meiganbang’s orders for cold-chain food transport boxes have consequently reached their seasonal peak. Inside the workshop, transport boxes are neatly stacked, reflecting the company’s impressive order performance. Behind these strong results lies Meiganbang’s ability to identify and address industry pain points with precision and develop customized products tailored to specific customer needs.
Wu Gongquan, Chairman of Meiganbang, noted that the three industry leaders—JD.com, SF Express, and AOKUN—have extremely stringent yet distinct requirements for packaging products.
JD.com prioritizes precise temperature control and protection against damage, ensuring packaging is tailored to the safety requirements of cold-chain transportation.
SF Express places greater emphasis on packaging durability and space efficiency, helping improve the efficiency of cold-chain logistics across multiple distribution channels.
AOKUN, meanwhile, focuses on moisture resistance and freshness preservation, ensuring the consistent quality of frozen bakery ingredients.
In response to the differentiated needs of these three industry leaders, Meiganbang quickly assembled a dedicated R&D team to develop targeted solutions. Drawing on more than 20 years of technical expertise and formula and process improvements certified by national experts, the company successfully developed customized cold-chain food transport boxes that meet the standards of all three enterprises. These products effectively address many of the shortcomings of traditional packaging, establishing Meiganbang as a dedicated supplier to all three industry leaders.
Compared with traditional cardboard boxes, which are prone to moisture damage and collapse, and conventional foam boxes, which have limited loading capacity, this customized cold-chain food transport box offers significant advantages. Even when stacked 20 to 30 units high, it maintains its structural integrity and resists collapse, with a load-bearing capacity far exceeding industry standards. With the same internal volume, it can accommodate twice the load of traditional foam boxes, effectively reducing logistics and transportation costs. More importantly, its production cost is essentially on par with that of conventional packaging, truly achieving “higher quality and greater efficiency without increasing costs.” This cost-performance advantage has become a key factor behind Meiganbang’s success in entering the supply chains of leading enterprises.
